All that we can leave behind

While leaving Seattle seemed like the only thing I wanted to do and I hardly felt anything during the short weeks before my departure, it did hit me after I got on the plane for the rest of the day, and is only now starting to fade. Unrealized possibilities left behind seemed like a non-issue. Or were they...? All that remains now, is to look forward. But can a single thread of the past have a place in the fabric of the future? And do I want to pursue it?

I think I do, maybe.
